Well, Wallenbeen is the next town when heading south from Harden. Nice little town this. Wallenbeen has a touch of class. Pleasingly Wallenbeen qualifies for a synopsis.

The tribute to the wheat industry sets the scene.

The cricket oval is a must see for the cricket enthusiast. Classic village green in a bit of an oasis per se.

The Wallenbeen Hotel is straight out of a calendar series. Maintained to a 100 percent standard presents this fantastic pub. The fact that it presents so well determines refreshment is in order.

The Anglican Church remains a practicing survivor and is worth a look over.

The War Memorial is profound reminder of the impacts of war in small communities.

The temptation to drive past must be resisted when you reach this great little town.
