WALLENBEEN Well, Wallenbeen is the next town when heading south from Harden. Nice little town this. Wallenbeen has a touch of class. Pleasingly Wallenbeen qualifies for a synopsis. The tribute to the wheat industry sets the scene. The cricket oval is a must see for the cricket enthusiast. Classic village green in a bit of an oasis per se. The Wallenbeen Hotel is straight out of a calendar series. Maintained to a 100 percent standard presents this fantastic pub. The fact that it presents so well determines refreshment is in order. The Anglican Church remains a practicing survivor and is worth a look over.   The War Memorial is profound reminder of the impacts of war in small communities.
