Yenda is an outer suburb of Griffith. But people who live in Yenda, unlike Hanwood, state their address as Yenda and not Griffith. Hence the Bustout qualification.

The area forming part of Yenda is well covered by vineyards, which produce close to 70% of the wine for New South Wales. Rice paddies fed by the irrigation system also frequent the area as do stone and citrus fruit orchards, market gardens producing vegetables, and poultry farms.

Yenda has feeling of wealth about it, probably enhanced by the Wineries and Fruit Orchards.

The Yenda Catholic Church is a grand and new building. The Anglican an older structure

The War Memorial is located in the Memorial Park.

The Hotel is quite a grand and classic pub.

You will find you will pass through Yenda to get to Griffith.
