WOOMELANG Woomelang is a small wheat town that lies at the junction of two main highways one of which takes the traveler to Mildura. Woomelang, surprises a little and is not far from the next town junction at Lascelles. The town is fully supported from an agricultural perspective. Woomelang qualifies for a Bustout synopsis. As with most towns in the Mallee region, the main industry is a dryland agriculture and wool growing. Woomelang Post Office opened on 10 August 1900.An interesting attraction to the south of Woomelang is a shearing shed constructed during the last war.
