PO, but for people from Boulder are without doubt Boudlerites and that
other town could be a thousand miles away. Boulder like its sister is
its own entity, and is not a suburb of Kalgoolie. The town is a
mining town.
Until 1989 it was
part of its own municipality. In 1989 the towns of Kalgoorlie and
Boulder were merged to form the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. After the

that to a local
On the 20th of April 2010
Kalgoorlie-Boulder suffered a magnitude 5.0 earthquake which damaged
several of the historic buildings in Boulder. The buildings are being
repaired but will give an opportunity to boost the heritage factors in
the town.
The number of hotels, most
with much repair work to be done, is quite significant.
The Boulder War Memorial
is at the eastern end of the town near the station museum
(now closed because of the earthquake).
The Military Museum is in
the central part of the town.
The churches in Boulder
are a mix of the old and new.
The Old Catholic being the most traditional and old???
A visit to Kalgoolie will
ensure a visit to Boulder. A must visit.
