EIGHTY MILE BEACH
Eighty Mile Beach does not qualify for
a page under the guidelines we set ourselves. It is not fair that you
do not share some the experience we encountered.
Heading south from Broome and having
traveled nearly 400k, the Eighty Mile Beach sign pointing west looked
welcoming.
Nine Kilometers, and 30 minutes later
on a very rough road we arrived.
The place has a War Memorial,
and
a small shop at the registration point.
This is a truly stunning spot and is a
recommended multi night stop-over.
The decision made easier by the fact
the isolation does not preclude three channel perfect picture TV.
If you are a shell collector, at this
place is shell nirvana and is not a national park.
Be sure to visit.
